Yanco FU-812 Fuji Chinaware 12" x 6" Platter, Bone White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Twelve inches long and 6 wide, this platter is where Fuji's 800-series rectangular run crosses from tableware into serving. Past the 10-inch line the piece stops being a single diner's plate and becomes the board a table shares: a sashimi spread, a charcuterie line, a set of four small bowls stood in a row along the length.

The two-to-one proportion is held exactly, as it is on the smaller pieces in the same mold family, so the whole run looks like one set when several sizes are on a table together. A dozen to the case. The flat face carries no well, which is what makes it useful for display service where height is built on the plate rather than contained by it.
