Yanco FU-805 Fuji Chinaware 5" x 2-1/2" Bowl 10 oz, Bone White — Case of 36 (3 dz)
Five inches across and 2-1/2 inches deep at 10 ounces, the middle plain round doubles the capacity of the 4-inch FU-804 for one extra inch of width and half an inch of depth. That is the size where a rice bowl stops being a side and starts being able to hold a one-bowl meal: rice with a topping, a congee portion, a soup served without a spoon.
The simple round wall is deliberately undecorated so the bowl disappears behind what is in it, and the lack of a rolled rim keeps the stack height low in a crowded service cabinet. Three dozen to the case, which is the quantity a rice station actually turns over in a shift.
