Ten inches wide and 28 ounces deep, this is the largest of Fuji's four Fortune bowls, and the one in the family sized for the middle of the table. It will take a shared salad for three, a whole steamed vegetable course, or a bowl of noodles for one diner with a healthy appetite. The sculpted fold is pronounced enough at this size to be the visual centre of a setting.
It carries 10 ounces more than the 8-1/4 inch FU-508 directly beneath it. A dozen to the case, which is what a footprint this wide warrants. Bone white, dishwasher safe and microwave safe, so a kitchen can heat a portion in the bowl it serves in.
