Yanco FU-312 Fuji Chinaware 12" Square Flat Platter, Bone White — Case of 12 (1 dz)
At a full 12 inches on each side this square has crossed out of plate territory and into serving: it is the piece a kitchen sends out carrying a shared board, a composed cheese course, or a set of small bowls arranged on one surface. The face is flat rather than welled, so anything placed on it stays visible from the edge of the table, which is the whole point of a display server.
It is the largest of Fuji's three square flat pieces, two inches wider than the FU-310 and four wider than the FU-308, and it ships a dozen to the case because it eats shelf depth. At this width the piece belongs down the centre of the table, not at a single cover, and it is named and used as a platter.
