Yanco FU-308 Fuji Chinaware 8" Square Flat Plate, Bone White — Case of 36 (3 dz)

An 8-inch square plate with a flat, almost tray-like face, the FU-308 is the salad and starter size in Fuji's square flat run. Corner to corner it gives a diner more usable surface than a round of the same nominal width, and the shallow lift at the edge keeps dressing from running off without turning the piece into a bowl. Three dozen to the case makes it practical for a dining room that turns a first course on every cover.

It sits below the 10-inch FU-310 and the 12-inch FU-312 in the same mold family, so a kitchen can run a matched three-step progression from starter to main to share. At 8 inches it also leaves room on the cover for a bowl and a drink, which the wider squares in the family do not.
