Yanco FU-1416 Fuji Chinaware 16" x 7-1/2" Rectangular Display Platter, Bone White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Sixteen inches of length on seven and a half of width gives a hundred and twenty square inches and the proportions of a true passing platter. It takes a whole fish, a row of sliced meats, bread for a long table, or a dozen canapés laid in two ranks.

Stepping up from the fourteen-inch platter adds two inches of length and a full inch of width, so the usable face grows by about a third where the length alone grows by a seventh. Twelve to a case keeps it in the same ordering rhythm as the 14", which matters for a kitchen that uses the two sizes together. Bone white chinaware, safe in the microwave and the dishwasher.
