Yanco FU-105 Fuji Chinaware 4-1/2" Square Sushi Plate, Bone White — Case of 36 (3 dz)

At four and a half inches square this plate opens Fuji’s sushi run, built for one or two pieces of nigiri, a single gyoza, an amuse, or a soy dish set beside a larger plate. The face is flat and the edge is low, so it lands as a square footprint inside a round place setting.

Yanco’s own sheet files it as a bread and butter plate and it will do that job, but in this collection the square sushi series — 4-1/2", 7-1/2", 9", 10-1/2" and 12" — is one design scaled five ways, and this is the step where a plate serves a single morsel rather than a course. Thirty-six to a case for a bar putting out dozens of small plates a night. Magnesia-bodied chinaware, bone white right through, safe in the dishwasher and the microwave.
