Yanco FU-007 Fuji Chinaware 7" x 2-3/4"H Square Bowl 36 oz, Bone White — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Thirty-six ounces in a seven-inch square makes this a service bowl rather than a side: a noodle portion, a shared vegetable dish for a table of three, rice for two. Two and three quarter inches of wall gives enough draft to hold broth without the surface sitting level with the rim.

Set against the 5-1/2" square it is an inch and a half wider and holds more than twice as much, thirty-six ounces against fourteen. Cases come twenty-four deep rather than thirty-six, which is the right ratio for a kitchen plating one of these for every two or three of the smaller squares. Bone white throughout, with no decoration on the face, and rated for microwave reheating as well as machine washing.
