Eight inches square, two deep, twenty-three ounces: Denmark's salad bowl for a single cover. One inch of extra width over the DM-507 adds seven ounces of volume, because a square gains area on two axes at once.

It is shallow enough that dressed leaves stay visible instead of packing down, and wide enough that a server can turn a salad in it at the table. The flat floor helps with anything that should not pile up, such as a grain salad, a poke build or a warm vegetable side. Twenty-four bowls travel in one case.
