Yanco DM-212 Denmark Chinaware 12-1/4" x 7/8" Square Platter With Upright Rim, Light Purple — Case of 12 (1 dz)

The DM-212 is a 12-1/4 inch square platter with a seven-eighths-inch upright rim, two inches wider than the DM-210 and marginally taller at the wall, which is what a larger span needs to stay rigid in porcelain.

A square platter at this width carries a sharing plate for four, a dessert selection, or a tray of canapes without the wasted corners a round leaves on a rectangular table. The undecorated border gives staff a clean edge to handle while the speckle stays inside the well, so fingerprints land where nobody is looking. Square platters also seat neatly inside a square gastronorm shelf, which rounds cannot do. A dozen travel in one case.
