Yanco DB-510 Diamond Black Chinaware 10" x 10" x 1-1/8" Square Plate, Dark Bronze — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Ten inches square, an inch and an eighth deep. This is the dinner cover of the square group: a hundred square inches of flat dark bronze, a great deal of usable area for a main course and its accompaniments, and noticeably more surface than a ten-inch round of the same nominal size.

The extra rise over the eight-inch square gives a sauce somewhere to go. Two dozen to a carton. Square plates do not nest the way rounds do, so allow extra shelf height for each dozen beyond what a round stack of the same count needs.
