Ten and a half inches long and four and three-eighths wide, this is the narrowest rectangular platter in Diamond Black: a proportion of nearly two and a half to one, which makes it a strip rather than a platter in the ordinary sense. The shape has one job and does it well, which is a line of items, nigiri, canapes, three desserts in a row, a flight of pates.

An inch of upright wall is enough to stop a garnish rolling off the platter. Two dozen to a carton. Being long and thin it wants shelf depth rather than shelf width, which is worth checking against existing racking.
