Yanco CR-5450 Black & Red Melamine 4-3/4" Square Bowl 10 oz, Black/Red — Case of 48 (4 dz)

A square bowl, 4-3/4 inches on a side, holding ten ounces. Square geometry buys a little more floor area than a round of the same width, which shows up when the piece is used for a side salad, a seaweed dish, or a portion of edamame rather than for liquid.

Corners also make it read differently on a table set mostly with rounds, and that is the usual reason to buy one. Ten ounces is the capacity this pattern also gives its 4-5/8 inch round, the CR-3006, so the choice between those two is shape and not portion. Melamine, dishwasher safe, forty-eight bowls to a case.
