This is the shallower of Cowboy's two twelve inch rectangles: six inches front to back with a one inch wall, against 6-1/2 inches and 1-1/4 on its sibling. A lower edge makes it simpler to slide a spatula under a flatbread or lift a terrine off cleanly.

Twelve inches long means it is a platter by the measure, and the narrow six inch depth keeps it from eating the width of a crowded pass. It is the one to reach for when the food is flat and the table is tight. Gray chinaware carrying the pressed basket weave. Twelve to a case, dishwasher and microwave safe.
