Yanco CAT-4012 Catering Melamine 12" x 2-1/4" Deep Rim Bowl 68 oz, White — Case of 12

A twelve-inch rim bowl with sixty-eight ounces of usable volume held in a two-and-a-quarter-inch body.

The wide flat rim is the distinguishing feature. It gives staff somewhere to hold the bowl that is not the food, and it frames the contents the way a plate rim frames a plated course. Against the plain round bowl of the same diameter it trades a little of the opening for that border and still carries a touch more. Use it for pasta service, a composed salad, a grain bowl at a make-your-own station, or as an under-dish beneath a smaller bowl of dip.
