Yanco CAT-2020 Catering Melamine 20-1/2" x 14" Oval Platter, White — Case of 6

Twenty and a half by fourteen inches, with a rim standing an inch and three-quarters: as deep as any oval in this collection.

That rim is what separates the piece from the flatter oval platters, since it will hold a braise, a saucy curry or roasted vegetables in their own juices rather than letting them run. The size suits a whole fish, a rack of lamb or a family-style main for a table of eight to ten. It is far wider across the short axis than the long narrow platters in the range, so there is room to garnish around the edge of whatever is plated at the centre.
