The smallest oval in Cambria: ten inches long by 6-3/4 wide, with a one-inch wall. That footprint fits across a standard two-top without crowding the covers, which is what a small oval plate is actually for — a shared appetiser, a fish course, a sandwich with its sides alongside.

Ovals in this pattern step up two inches at a time, and this is the only one still shipping two dozen to a carton. The one-inch wall is shared with the CA-312; the larger CA-314 goes deeper at 1-1/2 inches. If an oval is wanted mainly for plated entrées rather than sharing, ten inches reads better on a laid table than a twelve-inch round.
