At 4-5/8 inches across and 1-1/4 inches deep, the BR-11 fruit bowl holds 4.75 ounces, and that small fill is deliberate. A fruit dish is a portion-control piece. It is meant to look full with a small amount in it, which is exactly what a line cook wants from a side of apple sauce, a scoop of fruit cocktail or a dish of sorbet.
