Yanco BP-5111 Black Pearl Melamine 11" Square Display Platter, Black — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Eleven inches on each side, which puts it over the ten-inch mark and into the platter group: a square with roughly half again the surface of the nine-inch, enough for a shared starter board, a sushi selection for two, or a dessert course brought out whole. Square platters stack and line up on a buffet in a way ovals and rounds cannot.

A hundred and twenty-one square inches of flat black is a large uninterrupted field to plate against, and the shallow raised edge holds a garnish in place during the carry. Melamine keeps an eleven-inch square light enough to serve from one hand and takes repeated dish-machine heat without the fine crazing a glaze develops.
