Yanco BM-708CL Birmingham Melamine 8" x 1-1/2" Salad/Soup Bowl 20 oz, Clay and Black — Case of 36 (3 dz)

At eight inches wide and an inch and a half deep, the clay-finished BM-708CL has a shallower well than its grey, green and teal siblings yet carries the same twenty ounces. Broad and low is the right geometry for a soup you want to cool quickly or a salad you want to keep loose.

Clay and black

The warm clay floor gives broth and pale grains somewhere to sit visually, while the black outer wall keeps the bowl looking deliberate on a dark cloth. Brushed texture on both faces hides the small marks that service leaves behind. If one colourway in this family is going on a breakfast buffet, make it this one.
