Yanco BM-705CL Birmingham Melamine 7" x 5" Serving Sheer Bowl 35 oz, Clay and Black — Case of 48 (4 dz)

The clay-and-black BM-705CL is the tall serving piece of the Birmingham line: seven inches across, five inches high, thirty-five ounces. Food sits low in it and the black wall rises around the rim, which flatters grain bowls, warm salads and anything dressed that needs turning at the table.

Clay interior under food

A clay-toned well puts a warm ground under green leaves and pale grains rather than the cold cast a grey interior gives them, and it disguises oil marks between washes. Height has a second use here: a tall bowl keeps a tossed dressing off the tablecloth when the serving spoon comes out.
