Yanco BM-705 Birmingham Melamine 7" x 5" Serving Sheer Bowl 35 oz, Gray Interior and Black Exterior — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Thirty-five ounces is a serving quantity, not a portion. The BM-705 is a seven-inch bowl with a tall five-inch profile, deep enough to bring a whole batch of salad, a family-style pasta or a pot of mussels to the centre of the table and still leave room to toss.

Depth over width

Birmingham's nine-and-a-half-inch salad bowl spreads thirty ounces across a much flatter floor. This one goes up instead, which keeps dressed leaves from drying at the edges and makes serving with tongs easier. At four dozen in a carton it is bought as everyday serveware rather than as a showpiece.
