Yanco BM-307GR Birmingham Melamine 7-1/2" x 1-1/2" Soup Bowl 12 oz, Green Interior and Black Exterior — Case of 48 (4 dz)

A green soup bowl sounds like an odd thing to specify until a chowder goes into one. The pale soup against the brushed green well produces a contrast that plain white cannot, and at 7-1/2 inches across there is enough of the colour visible for it to count.

7-1/2 inch green soup bowl

Twelve ounces, an inch and a half deep: proportioned wide rather than tall, which keeps a small portion looking generous. Green inside, black outside, consistent with the green rounds and ovals elsewhere in the pattern. Melamine stands up to the ladle, the stack and the dishwasher, and it will not develop the fine crazing lines that collect stain.
