Yanco BM-209TL Birmingham Melamine 9-5/8" x 6" x 1" Deep Oval Plate, Teal Interior and Black Exterior — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Shellfish, smoked fish and anything cold and composed tends to end up on the teal oval plate. Nine and five-eighths by six inches is room for a portion and a wedge of lemon, and the one inch wall keeps ice melt and brine off the linen.

Teal oval plate

This is an awkward shape in a wash rack, which is a reason to buy it in melamine: the Birmingham body does not chip at the narrow ends where ceramic ovals fail. Teal inside, black outside, brushed across both faces. The long axis of the oval slides onto a crowded table where a round of the same area will not fit.
