Yanco BM-111TL Birmingham Melamine 11-1/2" x 1-1/4" Round Plate, Teal Interior and Black Exterior — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Teal runs to 11-1/2 inches here, and at this diameter the brushed variation in the colour finally has room to show, which is something largely lost on the 7-1/2 inch rounds where food covers the surface.

11-1/2 inch teal round

The piece is flat-plate shallow at 1-1/4 inch, so it works for a plated main but not for anything loose. Black on the underside and outer wall keeps a stack reading dark on the shelf. Like every Birmingham size, the body is melamine: it survives a knock, washes hot, and will not take on odours from a strong sauce.
