Yanco BM-109GR Birmingham Melamine 8-1/2" x 1" Round Plate, Green Interior and Black Exterior — Case of 36 (3 dz)

Operations that run a green accent through the room tend to buy the 8-1/2 before anything else. It is the diameter that runs constantly on the floor, so the colour appears often enough to register as a decision rather than an accident of stock.

8-1/2 inch green round

The well is green, the outside black, and the join between them is brushed rather than hard-edged. One inch of rise is enough for a saucy entree at lunch and shallow enough to still look like a plate. Melamine handles the drop onto a bus tub, and because the colour is moulded in, scratches do not flash white.
