A seven-inch round with an inch and three-quarters of wall, the BK-207 holds twenty ounces, more than its diameter suggests. That makes it the soup-and-pasta plate of the BK round series: deep enough for a brothy bowl of ramen or a cassoulet, flat enough across the base that a risotto spreads rather than mounds.

Round and seven inches across, this stays a plate on any measure. The chinaware is oven safe, which widens what it can carry: a gratin finished under a salamander, a baked pasta sent out in the plate it cooked in. Bright white glaze, no rim decoration, two dozen arriving in each case.
