Ten ounces in an oval six inches by four and a half, the BK-006 is the middle size in Yanco's run of individual baking dishes. It is wide enough for a portion of lasagna or a baked pasta under a browned cheese crust, and deep enough at an inch and a half that a saucy filling stays put while it bubbles.

Bright white chinaware takes oven heat directly, so the dish can be filled cold, baked and sent out with no plate underneath. Set beside the BK-005 it gains three ounces of volume on half an inch more length, which is the difference between a tasting portion and a side a diner can finish.
