Yanco AG-608 Agate Chinaware 8" x 1-1/2" Soup Bowl 20 oz, Beige — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Eight inches wide with an inch and a half of wall, this soup bowl holds twenty ounces. That is a rim-soup proportion rather than a deep crock: the liquid spreads and settles to eating temperature quickly, which is what a busy lunch service wants when an order has to travel from pass to table to spoon in a minute.

Open and shallow also suits anything with solids floating in it, a chowder or a minestrone or a tortilla soup where the garnish is the point of the plate. Set it beside the six-and-three-quarter-inch Agate soup size, which packs a larger volume into a deeper column for service that has to hold heat. Beige color glaze on chinaware, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Twenty-four to the case.
