Yanco AD-209 Ardis Melamine 9-1/2" x 7-1/4" Oval Plate, Tan with Speckles — Case of 24 (2 dz)

This 9-1/2" by 7-1/4" oval is a plate, not a platter — under ten inches on the long axis, it is sized for one diner rather than for passing around. The oval well suits a fillet, a sausage, a kebab or a club sandwich cut on the diagonal, shapes that waste the corners of a round.

Yanco runs the same mould in its Milestone line as MS-209, published there as an oval plate, so the name holds across patterns. Within Ardis the oval plate is shorter than every other oval in the line; the next step up, 11-1/2" by 8", crosses into platter territory. Cases hold 24 pieces of speckled beige melamine.
