Sixteen by seven and three quarter inches, an inch and a quarter deep. The Fishia is a long narrow oval, and the proportion is the whole design: roughly two to one, where a standard oval platter runs closer to three to two.

That narrowness suits anything that is long. A side of fish, which is where the name comes from, but equally a row of skewers, a baguette cut on the bias, asparagus laid in one direction. It also works along the edge of a crowded table where a conventional platter cannot be set down. Twelve ship together, the shortest of three Fishia lengths.
