Five and a half inches, half an inch tall. The AC-5 is the bread and butter plate — the piece that sits at eleven o'clock on a cover and holds a roll, a pat of butter, and nothing else.

Small flat rounds take the worst of a dish pit's handling, which is why the rolled edge counts for more here than it does on a dinner plate. Three dozen per carton. Abco's 6-1/4 inch round is the same shape three quarters of an inch wider, should a room want bread service to look less cramped.
