Just under twelve inches long and eight across, with an inch and a quarter of rise, the AC-13 is the middle rimmed oval platter in Abco. The deeper border is what separates it from the ten-inch AC-12: more height on the rim means more tolerance for a sauce or a juice that runs.

Service tends to use it for a whole trout, a rack of ribs cut into portions, a mixed vegetable side for the table, or a full breakfast where bacon, eggs and toast need to stay in their own lanes.
