The Winco ASHP-20 is a 20-quart extra-heavy aluminum sauce pot: a wide, low vessel with a 6 mm (1/4") thick base that holds heat and will not warp on a high-output burner. The shape is what restaurant and Indian kitchens reach for when they need to brown onions, bloom masala or build a roux and then simmer — the base is wide enough to sauté, the walls low enough to stir and reduce. Spin-formed 3003 aluminum with riveted handles. Sized for restaurant-volume gravies, curries, chili, rice and braises; wide enough to brown onions and masala before adding liquid.
