The Waring WCU55X is a 55-cup commercial coffee urn in brushed stainless steel, sized for mid-size meetings, banquets and buffet service. It brews anywhere from 25 to 55 cups per batch and runs on standard 120V power, using a dual-heater system to brew and then keep coffee warm at a proper serving temperature.

Percolator Brewing with Dedicated Keep-Warm Heat

Water in the stainless tank is heated and pushed up a percolator tube over grounds in the coffee basket. Once brewing is complete, the urn shifts to a separate keep-warm heater so coffee is held gently instead of continuing to boil. Separating brewing and holding keeps flavor fresher through a long event.

A Ready light tells staff when coffee is done, and a glass water-level gauge on the front shows how much is left so refills can be planned. Boil-dry protection with automatic reset protects the urn if it is powered with too little water. Waring's brewing chart makes batch sizes simple: about 2-1/2 cups of grounds for 25 cups up to about 4-3/4 cups of grounds for a full 55-cup batch.
