The Waring WCT855 is the 240V model of Waring's switchable bread/bagel heavy-duty toaster. It has four extra-wide 1-1/2" slots, toasts up to 360 slices per hour and runs at 2700 watts through a NEMA 6-20P plug. It is the right choice for kitchens wired for 240V that want one-sided bagel toasting at heavy-duty volume.

Switchable Bread/Bagel Toasting

A bread/bagel selector switch changes how the heating elements fire. In bagel mode the toaster browns only one side, so the cut face of a split bagel gets crisp and golden while the crust side is just warmed, the way most guests expect a bagel to be served. In bread mode both sides toast evenly. The four extra-wide 1-1/2" slots take full-size bagels, thick artisan slices, English muffins and Texas toast without jamming.

Electronic browning controls set separate levels for each pair of slots, and carriage control lift levers raise and lower product. The industrial heating plates are easy to replace when they wear, which keeps long-term service costs down, and the dishwasher-safe crumb tray makes daily cleaning quick and reduces burnt-crumb smoke.
