Waring WCT708 Medium-Duty 4-Slice Toaster, Brushed Chrome, 1-3/8 in Wide Slots, Separate Controls, 120V

The Waring WCT708 is a medium-duty four-slot toaster in brushed chrome, a step up from light-duty units for cafes and breakfast rooms with steadier demand. Four 1-3/8"-wide slots accept bagels and thick breads, and separate controls let each pair of slots run independently. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug.

Four Wide Slots With Separate Controls

With separate controls for its slot pairs, the WCT708 can toast two different items at two different settings at the same time, for example a bagel on one side and white bread on the other. That cuts wait time during a rush and avoids running a second cycle just because two guests want different shades.

The 1-3/8" slot width takes bagels, English muffins and thick-cut breads, and a bagel toasting function suits split bagels. The brushed chrome housing hides fingerprints better than mirror finishes and looks at home on a front counter or self-serve buffet.

As a medium-duty unit, the WCT708 sits between Waring's light-duty WCT702 and WCT704 and the heavy-duty WCT800 series. It is a sensible choice when a two-slice toaster keeps creating a queue but toasting demand is not continuous enough to justify a 20-amp heavy-duty or conveyor model, and its standard 5-15P plug means it can be placed wherever a regular outlet is available.
