The Waring MXE2000 Ellipse Blending System is a fully automated, top-down blending solution for high-volume smoothie, frozen beverage and bowl programs. It runs a 32 oz cylindrical copolyester jar on Waring's most powerful blender base, the 3.5 HP, 30,000 RPM MX1500, with a programmable LCD keypad, and plugs into a standard 120V outlet.

Independent Dual-Motor, Top-Down Blending

Thick frozen blends tend to "bridge": the blade cuts a pocket of air under the ingredients and spins freely while product sits on top, which is why staff reach for a tamper. The Ellipse solves that with an independent dual-motor system. While the base drives the blade from below, a lithium-powered Ellipse Drive mounted on the lid turns a dasher that sweeps the inside walls of the cylindrical jar, scraping contents back down into the blade. The result is fewer air pockets, shorter blend times and no need for a tamper.

The Drive charges in about two hours and one charge lasts a full service day; between blends it rests in a hollow docking station that tucks under the base in any orientation. It runs in Manual mode (10, 15 or 20 seconds via push buttons) or Auto Start mode, which starts automatically and runs for 30 seconds when the sound enclosure is closed. Magnetic stop-blade technology stops the blade within 2 seconds of opening the enclosure, and the redesigned sound enclosure cuts noise and vibration at the counter.

Controls

An electronic membrane keypad with a blue backlit LCD screen gives adjustable speed control and four programmable beverage stations, so each menu item can be saved and repeated with a single press. The Ellipse Drive adds its own Manual timing of 10, 15 or 20 seconds, or Auto Start for 30 seconds when used with the SE1500 sound enclosure, which is required for Auto Start mode.
