The True STR1R-1G-HC is a reach-in glass swing door refrigerator from the Spec Series®. It provides 23.9 cu. ft. of storage behind one glass door, holds 33°F to 38°F and runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. It plugs into a standard 115/60/1 circuit (3.8 A).

Refrigeration System

A factory-balanced, self-contained capillary tube refrigeration system mounted on top of the cabinet is sized generously for the cabinet, so it pulls down quickly after door openings and holds 33°F to 38°F steadily. R290 is a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential and a very low global warming potential, and it moves heat efficiently, which helps keep energy use down.

Electronically commutated (ECM) evaporator and condenser fan motors use less power, run cooler and deliver a more consistent airflow than conventional motors, which improves reliability and temperature uniformity. The evaporator coil is epoxy coated to resist corrosion. The compressor is rated at 1/4 HP.

Cabinet & Door Construction

The cabinet walls are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. Doors use double-pane Low-E thermal glass, cam-lift hinges, a bolt-style lock and a 120° stay-open feature.

Shelving & Lighting

Ships with one factory-installed interior kit (shelving or tray slides) chosen from four kit options; pilasters and tray slides are installed at no charge. Interior LED lighting is safety shielded.

Requires a dedicated 115/60/1, 15 amp outlet; the unit ships pre-wired with a cord and NEMA 5-15P plug. Allow free airflow around the condensing unit and follow True’s installation manual for clearances, leveling and start-up. Curb mounting is supported.
