Need a full range top but not the range? The Toastmaster TMHP6 gives you six open burners across 36 inches of counter, ready to sit on an equipment stand or a sturdy counter. It is built for busy restaurants, banquet and catering kitchens, and ethnic menus that keep a lot of pots and woks going at once.

Six cast iron burners rated at 22,000 BTU/hr each deliver a combined 132,000 BTU/hr. Each burner has its own standing pilot and manual 1/4-turn control valve, giving you six independent cooking spots in one compact unit.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• A full burner bank. Six independently controlled burners let one cook juggle boiling, simmering and searing across the whole top.
• Serious output. 132,000 BTU/hr in total means big pots come to temperature quickly, even in the middle of a rush.
• No-fuss ignition. Standing pilots on every burner and quarter-turn valves keep operation simple for every shift.
• Heavy-duty grates. Cast iron grates hold heavy stock pots and pans steady and take years of daily wear.
• Cleanup made easy. The removable crumb tray slides out for emptying, and the stainless steel front and bull nose wipe clean.

Choosing your setup

Gas type: every unit ships ready for natural gas with a pressure regulator, and an LP conversion kit is included in the box. Choose natural gas or liquid propane above. The same hot plate also comes as the 12" 2-burner (TMHP2) and 24" 4-burner (TMHP4).

Before it arrives

• Gas: 3/4" gas connection with pressure regulator; have a qualified installer connect it and fit the included LP kit if you run propane.
• Ventilation: install under a commercial hood following your local code.
• Counter or stand: set it on a non-combustible counter using the 4" legs, or on a stand at least 27" tall over a combustible floor. Keep 6" from combustible surfaces at the back and sides.
• Delivery: it ships at about 200 lb, so plan for a liftgate or dock and two people to lift it into place.
