Star SCT4000E Vertical Contact Toaster, 1,800 Buns/Hour, Electronic Controls, 208/240V

The Star SCT4000E is a vertical contact bun toaster with dual wide toasting slots that produces up to 1,800 buns per hour (running two heels and two crowns at once with a constant feed). The first buns pass through fully caramelized in as little as 12 seconds. A high-contrast digital control stores unlimited product settings and runs on 208-240V single-phase power.

Dual-Belt Contact Toasting

Front and rear single-piece silicone belts press bun halves against a heated platen that runs up to 550°F (288°C). Each belt is driven by its own stepper motor with independent speed control, and stepper drives have no gears to strip, which supports a long service life.

Bun height is set with an easy twist knob from 0.125 inch to 1 inch, adjusted separately front and rear. Product files can be loaded through the USB port, so every location in a chain toasts the same way, or programmed directly on the unit.

Units sold in the U.S. and Canada come with a factory-attached cord and NEMA 6-15P plug for a 208-240V single-phase receptacle.

Allow at least 1 inch on each side and at the rear, plus room to open the front and rear conveyor covers for cleaning.
