Star RTW19EA Rolling Tortilla Warmer, 1,350 Tortillas/Hour

The Star RTW19EA rolling tortilla warmer heats tortillas, pitas and other flatbreads up to 3/8 inch thick to a target 160°F in seconds, at up to 1,350 six-inch tortillas per hour. A heated, Sunology™-coated drum carries each piece from the upper inlet tray to the lower output tray, and an electronic control sets both temperature and drum speed. It runs on 208-240V single-phase power.

Rolling Drum Heating

Instead of a steamer or flat griddle, the RTW uses a rotating heated drum. Product rides around the drum and drops out warm and pliable, so staff can load continuously during a rush without flipping or timing each tortilla.

Efficient radiant heating uses substantially less energy than an open griddle and keeps excess heat out of the work area. The thermostat adjusts up to 480°F (249°C), and drum speed can be changed quickly for thicker or thinner products.

Installation & Utility Requirements

The warmer plugs in with a 6-foot cord: 208-240V: 1,905 / 2,537 W, 9.1 / 10.5 A, NEMA 6-15P. Specify the voltage when ordering.

Allow at least 10 inches above the unit so the top can open for cleaning, and at least 1 inch on each side and behind it. The optional wall-mount kit lets the warmer hang off the counter.
