Star Ultra-Max® HCTE13S Horizontal Contact Toaster, Silicone Belt, Electronic Controls, 1,400 Buns/Hour

The Star Ultra-Max® HCTE13S is a horizontal contact toaster that caramelizes up to 1,400 bun halves per hour. It uses a non-marking silicone conveyor belt and fully programmable electronic controls for platen temperature, auxiliary heater power and belt speed. It is available for 208V or 240V service; select the voltage above.

Contact Toasting

The conveyor carries each bun half across an aluminum toasting platen that spreads heat evenly across the full belt width, sealing the cut surface so sauces do not soak in. Infrared elements above the belt warm the crown and heel sides at the same time. The gap between belt and platen adjusts for any bun thickness.

An extended belt with a sloped platen makes loading easy, and the deep toasting return handles products up to 7 inches long. Non-stick PTFE sheets on the platen reduce cleaning, and the crumb tray and toast slide remove for cleanup. No ventilation hood is required.

The toaster plugs into a single-phase receptacle matching its NEMA 6-20P plug at the voltage ordered (208V: 2,550 W, 12.25 A; 240V: 2,650 W, 11 A).

Set it on a level counter with room at the front for loading and at the discharge end; no ventilation hood is required.
