Restaurants that pour a lot of soft drinks and iced tea, plus a steady bar trade, tend to land in the 500 lb a day range. The Serv-Ware SWM30-500F covers that need with a 30" wide modular head that makes full cube ice, the classic dense cube that melts slowly and looks good in the glass.
Output is rated at up to 500 lb of ice per 24 hours. It runs on 115V (1,295 W) with a NEMA 5-15P plug and uses a 1/4 HP air-cooled refrigeration system with R290 refrigerant. Dimensions are 29-15/16" W x 23-3/8" D x 22-1/4" H, and the bin is sold separately.

Before it arrives
- Pick a bin: the head does not include storage, so order a compatible ice bin (or dispenser) sized for your peak use at the same time.
- Power: a 115V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P receptacle near the machine.
- Water and drain: plan for a potable water supply and a floor drain near the location; filtration is a good idea in hard-water areas.
- Airflow and leveling: keep the air-cooled condenser clear of walls and heat sources, and use the adjustable front legs on uneven floors.
Warranty
Three years parts and labor on the entire unit, plus five years on the compressor and evaporator (parts only), from Serv-Ware. Coverage is for commercial use in the United States.
