Nugget ice is the soft, chewable ice customers go out of their way for, and it is a strong draw for drive-thru drinks, smoothie bars, healthcare and fountain soda programs. The Serv-Ware SWM22-550CN brings that ice to a compact 22" wide modular head that sits on top of a storage bin.
The machine is rated at up to 550 lb of chewable nugget ice per 24 hours. It runs on 110V (1,180 W) with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and uses a 1/4 HP air-cooled refrigeration system with R290 refrigerant. Overall size is 22" W x 24-7/8" D x 24-1/8" H.

Before it arrives
- Pick a bin: the head does not include storage, so order a compatible ice bin (or dispenser) sized for your peak use at the same time.
- Power: 110V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P receptacle close to the machine.
- Water and drain: plan for a potable water supply and a floor drain near the location; filtration is a good idea in hard-water areas.
- Airflow and leveling: give the air-cooled condenser open space for ventilation, and use the adjustable front legs to level the head on the bin.
Warranty
Three years parts and labor on the entire unit, plus five years on the compressor and evaporator (parts only), from Serv-Ware. Coverage is for commercial use in the United States.
