For long buffet lines and high-count service, the Serv-Ware SWGST-5 lines up five gas-heated wells in one stainless table. It is built for large cafeterias, all-you-can-eat buffets, banquet kitchens, schools and institutional feeding where many dishes need to stay hot at once.
5 wells, each heated by its own 3,100 BTU burner, add up to 15,500 BTU/hr in total. The wells are 8" deep to take 6" deep food pans, and the spec sheet lists a temperature range of 200°F to 500°F.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Five dishes, one table. Five independently controlled wells, each with its own 3,100 BTU burner, let you set the right heat for every item.
- Long-run capacity. 8" deep wells hold 6" deep pans so popular dishes last longer between refills.
- Full-length serving board. A 7" polyethylene cutting board spans the front for portioning down the whole line.
- Holds heat efficiently. Outside insulation keeps warmth in the wells instead of the room.
- Plenty of storage. The long stainless under-shelf holds a full set of backup pans and utensils.
Choosing your setup
Gas type: the SWGST-5 is available built for natural gas or for LP; choose the gas your kitchen uses above. The burner rating is the same on both; only the supply pressure differs.
| Gas | Total input | Manifold pressure |
|---|---|---|
| Natural gas | 15,500 BTU/hr | 4" W.C. |
| LP | 15,500 BTU/hr | 10" W.C. |
