Serv-Ware SWER-36 36" Electric Range with Standard Oven, 6 Hot Plates, 18.2 kW, 208V

For a kitchen that runs on electricity but still cooks a full menu, the Serv-Ware SWER-36 is a true workhorse: six electric hot plates over a wide oven, all on a 36-inch footprint. It suits full-service restaurants, school and church kitchens, and spaces without a gas line.

Six separate hot plates in a 2.6 kW and 2 kW combination share the top, and the static oven below (top and bottom elements, 112°F to 500°F) has a 26-5/8" W x 22-13/16" D x 13-7/8" H cavity. Total rating is 18.2 kW on 208V, 60 Hz, single-phase service, drawing 88 amps; the range is hardwired.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Six pans going at once. Mix the higher-output 2.6 kW plates and 2 kW plates to run stocks, sautés and sauces side by side at different heat levels.
• Room for bigger loads. The oven is 26-5/8" wide inside, so it takes larger pans and trays than the 24" model.
• Independent oven controls. Set the oven and the top separately, so baking and stovetop work do not interfere with each other.
• Built for daily use. A welded stainless frame with high-density insulation, insulated stainless oven door and stainless handle stand up to a busy line.

Before it arrives

• Power: a licensed electrician must hardwire the range to a dedicated 208V single-phase circuit sized for 88 A; no plug is supplied.
• Ventilation: install under a commercial hood following your local code.
• Space: plan for 36" x 33-11/16" x 56-7/8" (W x D x H) and room in front to open the oven door fully.
• Delivery: ships at about 410 lb, so arrange a liftgate or dock and enough hands to move it into place.

One year parts and labor on the entire unit from Serv-Ware, valid in the United States for commercial use.
