When the delivery truck drops off more frozen product than your reach-in can hold, the Serv-Ware SWCF-17 picks up the slack. At roughly 71" wide, this chest freezer gives growing restaurants, butcher counters, convenience stores and catering operations a big, open well for boxed goods and bulk inventory.

It holds 18.3 cu. ft. at -11°F to 0°F, cooled by a 1/3 HP compressor running on R290 refrigerant. It needs just a standard 115V outlet, draws 3 amps and uses about 1.62 kWh a day.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Room for cases. The long, open well takes full cases and bulky boxes that never fit well on reach-in shelves.
• A lid that stays where you put it. Balanced hinges hold the lid open anywhere from 35° to 70°, so both hands are free for loading.
• Locking lid. Lock up valuable proteins and desserts overnight or in shared storage areas.
• Light inside the lid. A lid light makes it easy to find what you need at the bottom of the chest.
• See the temperature at a glance. A temperature display on the cabinet lets staff check the freezer without opening the lid.
• Easier defrosting and cleaning. Rounded interior corners wipe out cleanly, and the drain sits at the front where you can reach it.

• Location: it is designed for indoor use in a climate-controlled room with good air circulation, away from fryers, ovens and other heat sources.
• Space: the cabinet measures 70-11/16" x 28-15/16" x 35-3/4"; leave room above for the lid to swing open and some breathing space around it for airflow.

Warranty

Three years parts and labor on the entire unit from Serv-Ware (from installation, up to 42 months from shipment), plus an additional five years on the compressor, part only. Coverage is for commercial use in the United States.
