The Serv-Ware SWCF-14 is a 55"-wide solid lid chest freezer and suits pizzerias, delis, bakeries and small restaurants that need more frozen space than an undercounter unit can give.
Inside you get 13.6 cu. ft. of storage held between -11°F and 0°F. A 1/4 HP compressor on R600a refrigerant does the work, drawing 2.5 amps on 115V and using about 1.46 kWh per day.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- A lid that stays where you put it. Balanced hinges hold the lid open anywhere from 35° to 70°, so both hands are free for loading.
- Light inside the lid. A lid light makes it easy to find what you need at the bottom of the chest.
- Locking lid. Lock up valuable proteins and desserts overnight or in shared storage areas.
- See the temperature at a glance. A temperature display on the cabinet lets staff check the freezer without opening the lid.
- Easier defrosting and cleaning. Rounded interior corners wipe out cleanly, and the drain sits at the front where you can reach it.
- Quiet and quick. It pulls down to freezing temperature quickly and runs quietly, which matters in open kitchens and front-of-house storage.
