Slicing your own deli meats and cheeses in-house cuts food cost and lets you control thickness for every sandwich. The Serv-Ware SLC-12 is a 12-inch slicer sized for delis, sandwich shops, cafés and restaurants that slice daily but do not need a heavy-duty automatic machine.

A 1/3 HP motor drives a 12" diameter alloy knife through a belt at a single speed. Thickness adjusts up to 9/16", and the motor is fan cooled with thermal overload protection.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Slice to order. Adjust from shaved to 9/16" thick for meats, cheeses and vegetables.
• Quiet, smooth drive. The belt-driven knife runs at a single, steady speed.
• Keeps an edge. A knife sharpener is included, so you can touch up the blade on site.
• Protected motor. Fan cooling and thermal overload protection help the motor through long prep sessions.
• Safe and steady. A safety guard covers the blade and non-slip feet keep the slicer planted on the counter.

Before it arrives

• Power: plan for a standard outlet near the prep counter; confirm the electrical rating with us before ordering if your outlet is limited.
• Counter: set it on a stable, level counter with room behind and to the side for the carriage travel.
• Training: review the safety guard and sharpener use with staff before the first shift.

Warranty

1 year parts and 90 days labor from Serv-Ware, counted from the installation date (up to 18 months from shipment), for commercial use. Labor must be performed by a qualified commercial food equipment service company approved by Serv-Ware.
